Project Description

NCE Caravans is a customized BigCommerce e-commerce platform developed to support the sale and management of caravan products and accessories. The project involved extensive storefront customization using BigCommerce Stencil, along with custom components and integrations to meet specific business requirements.

The platform supports both B2C and B2B workflows, with customized product experiences, customer functionality, warranty processes, and integrations with external business systems.

THE STORY

The goal was to transform the standard BigCommerce storefront into a tailored e-commerce experience that matches NCE Caravans' business processes and customer requirements.

The project involved developing custom storefront experiences while maintaining the flexibility of BigCommerce. Special attention was given to B2B functionality, product discovery, customer workflows, warranty processes, and responsive experiences across different devices.

OUR APPROACH

The development focused on BigCommerce Stencil, JavaScript, SCSS, HTML, and custom BigCommerce components to extend the storefront beyond its standard functionality.

Custom functionality included B2B customer workflows, product and category experiences, warranty forms, wishlist functionality, responsive components, API integrations, and performance optimization. The storefront was also integrated with external systems and services to support business operations and data flows.
